Five enthusiastic Black Student Union members joined California Health Collaborative's LEAD project to attend the 2024 Youth Quest event in Sacramento. Students from our community joined a group of nearly 400 advocates from across the state to raise their voices around the predatory practices of the tobacco industry. Black Student Union members from Oroville and Las Plumas High Schools teamed up with students from Corning High to meet with a representative from Assembly Member Gallagher's office.
